Something Weird

Tonight when I shut off my car all of the lights on the dashboard stayed on. Even with the key out of the ignition. The ABS, Check oil, and the Air bag lights. The main dashboard lights behind the speedometer and rpm were not on. I fixed this problem by starting the car and shutting it off.

What could cause this?

Please don't tell me a short circuit in the dashboard.

Re: Something Weird

I ran into a similar situation and found out later the hard way, that i had a battery acid issue which melted the positive terminal from the battery itself. Not sure if that will help ya.

Thanks for the reply...

AutoZone installed the battery for me, so if what you're saying is true, I will hold them liable for any damages.
