Twin scroll
This is really simple... If you have a Turbo II please go look under your hood and tell me where in the HELL the vacume hose in this picture comes from. OK Im calm now. Heres the whole story. I have a TII swap in my GTUs, problem is that it only boosts to 5 psi. I found the problem but cant find the solution. The turbo in the TII is a "twin scroll turbo" and that means it just acts like the twin turbos in an FD. My vac hose that goes from the "twin scroll solonoid" to the valve is missing... i cant find where it comes from... i know where it goes to the turbo but i cant find the actuator solonoid. I have pics on webshots of what im talking about... if someone could look at there TII and tell me where the hose goes too or better yet take a picture I would greatly appiciate it... Well anyway heres the link (just put the pics up so they might not show up untill the site refreshes)

Re: Twin scroll
Thats not your twin scroll solenoid in the picture. thats part of the ACV. And 5 PSI is about normal for a stock S4 turbo.

s5 turbo... and its supposed to boost to 8... espically a low mile turbo/motor. And in my Haynes manual it picuted that as the solonoid to the valve itself... im just looking for the actuator

Re: Twin scroll
maybe a leak in the vaccum hoses somewhere? I've heard this can cause problems and is somewhat usual, but I'm not pro at the turbos yet so hopefully someone else replies
