stereo wiring issues..

Spotted an add-on Sony 10 Disc CD Changer and thought I can hook it up to my stock stereo via the FM signal. The Sony unit comes with a relay box, which take in the car antenna cable and connects to both the changer and car stereo.
Two quick questions:

Since I will not be removing my stock stereo, and instead will be adding the Sony unit on, can anyone advise me where is the best position to place the relay box and changer?

I need to connect the +12, -12, and GND wires to power the changer. I am not a wiring buff, so can anyone advise where to connect these wires discreetly, besides straight to the car battery?
I wanna attempt the wiring myself. Do i need to remove panels after panels for installation?

Thanks!

Re: stereo wiring issues..

I do believe that you can add a spot on the fuse block and run a wire for power for the changer. You could have to remove some panels slightly to hide your wires and stuff depending on where you decide to put the changer.
