H22, closed or open deck?

does anyone know if any of the h22's were open decks? my buddy has a 4th gen h22, and we don't know if it's open or closed. can some tell me which generations came with open and which with closed? thanks

I know there were definently open deck ones, but I don't know what years they were. My buddy's got a closed deck jdm '96 obd1 h22, if that helps any.

1988 300zx turbo 5spd. 3" mandrel exhaust, filter, afco rad, e-fan, poly engine mounts, mbc at 8.5 psi, turboxs rfl-h bov, gutted plenum, etc.

blown turbo, under construction.. gt35 coming.

B series are open deck. And theorically they should be stronger, but depending on design, can be prone to overheating.
