Re: what is Tak next car??

I'd doubt that he could get a new car. I mean his rep is in the 86 so I don't think he would change it. It would be like Ryosuke changing from his white FC3S to a yellow S2K, it would just mess with it

He does get a new car in the series. Bunta purchases a Subaru Impreza WRX coupe for Takumi to drive. Happens during the Project D tangent.

But, if Takumi were to step away from that car too, I want to see him in something that offers up radically high levels of grip but has knife-edged handling. Something like a Lotus Exige or a Porsche 930.

Why not just get a Lotus Super 7? Open cockpit, open wheeled, and he'll get to wear those Red Barron goggles and white scarf... it'll be like driving a F1 car from the 50s in Monte Carlo!

Sigh, You and I were born in the wrong era...

I think you're kind of queer to suggest a non-japanese car for tak. It's like viewing dubbed anime over subbed and we all know how god hates that.

Re: what is Tak next car??

Umm Layla, you know its entirely possible that he wasn't using Queer as a derogatory term for Homosexuals? At one time it did mean odd or different. And from the context I don't think he was using it to put down homosexuals, or he would have written "you are -a- queer" saying "you are queer" is almost the same as saying your wierd. Just a thought.

Possible versus likely, must be weighed. And I am aware of the original meaning of the word queer. I stand by my decision.

The ban was waranteed. Calling a mod a queer in the first post is a big NO NO.

Anyway back to the discussion: layla's choice of an exige seems perfect going along with the lightweight, pure-handling, low hp theme. The ultimate car for Takumi would be though IMO the Radical.

Of course just for laughs it would be fun to imagine him in something like a viper

i think tak is gonna kep tat 86. it's small, FAST, and light. even REAL pro drivers (like ken gushi) prefers an 86 for drifting.

I think banning is the coward's way out of things. The next time you decide to get rid of someone who at least gives you something to debate about, think about it. An extra five minutes to re-sign up doesn't damage me at all. Anime fans shouldn't be over-sensitive little girls, it hurts our rep. Though I would say you lacked the true power seeing how you suggest a porche for Takumi. I spit on you. Ban me, I'll be back and it'll only make you look more like a pussy

You keep thinking. Stop it. A ban is a simple way to get rid of disruptive posters who have nothing to contribute to the board. What is cowardly about keeping the board under control? Nothing. It's Layla's Keeper's job.

Through your reasoning, resorting to name-calling because you don't like someone's opinon was somehow better than cowardice. Hardly.

Why? A bannable offense is a bannable offense. Does a mod need to stop and think 'Sure he called me a queer, but what he said was really cool, though.'

Then you probably won't mind signing up again. Registering another account while banned usually results in another ban from what I've seen here.

Anime fans shouldn't be stubborn kids who call names because they don't like the opinions of others, either. Anime fans should also have something worthwhile to contribute to the hobby. You've done nothing for this thread, other than let me have fun picking apart your post.

I would say you lacked the true power, not even being able to spell "Porsche" correctly.

You'll only appear to be that much more of a stubborn child by registering another account...then you'll just get banned again.
