Aurora struts replacement...which brand?
My struts are getting very "clunky" when I hit bumps, so I thinking about replacing the front struts with a better-than-factory replacement. Any recommendations?

not sure of the year Aurora you have, but for most of the earlier ones, the best thing (and one of the few available) are the monroe sensa-trac's. For some earlier years, like 95 or so I think, there are some KYB's available. Gabriel has some out there, but I'd recommend not to go that way. Other users have complained. I just purchased some new sensa-trac's for my 98 but have yet to install them. I'll post something when I finally do in the next few weeks commenting on the ride.

Mine's a 97. I saw some KYB's on J.C. Whitney's site but they are for the 95-96. I think they were about $48 each.
I will definitely look into the sensa-track. Let me know how your install goes and if you like them. If you don't mind, what did you pay for them so I have a reference point? |

At retail stores like advance and pep boys your looking at $75-95 per strut. I found them online at www.a-1shocks.com for $60 each and free shipping.
