Auto Tranny fluid

My father has a 2001 Chevy S-10 (4 cyl flex, automatic), just surpassing 100,000 miles. He last had his transmission fluid at 40K, and is currently looking to have it done again. I just purchased some Redline synthetic ATF and I can't use it on my VW, because it doesn't meet some specifications set by VW. This fluid exceeds dexron, mercon, and Mecedes Benz specs. Here's a some info from the website I purchased it from..
Redline Synthetic ATF - A premium automatic transmission fluid with extremely high resistance to thermal breakdown and constant coefficient of friction. Allows high temperature operation without varnishing transmission valves and clutches. Improves low temperature shifting. Meets Dextron IIE, Mercon and MB 236.8 specifications

Would there be a problem with putting this in the S-10?

I have used it and had no problem. Call the manufacturer, I am sure the number is on the bottle
