Service Engine Soon - Code P-0446B

I have a 2002 GX and this code keeps coming on. Any ideas other than tighten the gas cap before I go to Mr. Goodwrench?

P0446 is defined as: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM VENT CONTROL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION. It might be the gas cap.

Local repair shop cleaned out a solonoid on the fuel filler line. Drove for about a week (70 miles) and the light came back on. Repair shop will do further analysis and I will keep you posted.

Problem was a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor. Fuel tank pressure was too high. Replaced sensor and no more problems.

For future reference.... The P0440 code is the only code that is triggered by a loose, missing, or faulty gas cap. I have also found that a dirty air filter will trigger a P0442 code. Just a couple things I learned at work.
