Rover 216 coupe,

I have just bought this coupe, great car but one snag, itis determined to unlock itself after a an hour or so, which can be a down fall. also the internal lights don't turn on when you open the door. do you think this problem is linked and what could a remedy be? Cheers...

Re: Rover 216 coupe,

The black switches on the doors that control the internal light are renouned for failing. You can try cleaning them or depending what country your in, go to a local breakers and get some off any Rover 200/400 of the same age.

The door locks MAY be related but not too sure about that, not heard of that happening before.
