Question clutch for my truck

needed help with a clutch, see i have done an engine swap in my truck and i put a 7mgte in it. i had to use a non-turbo bell houseing and that makes me have to run a non-turbo clutch and i was wondering if it would hold up? if not what would? like i use my truck for rock climbing, and also wanting to race sometimes so i will need something that will hold up. so i need some advice

Re: clutch for my truck

It will hold up to 350ish hp, after that you will probably start having problems with the transmission, using it as a rock climbing tranny and beating it up will also add to the problem. Suprasport or HorsePowerFreaks are your best bet for the clutch/pressure plate. The 7m fits nicley in 4-runners and toyo pickups, good choice. Why didn't you just use the R-154 trans in it, you trying to keep the 4-wheel drive (if you have it)?
