Cost of installing APEXi N1

I ordered a APEXi N1 muffler and was wondering about how much it would cost to get that welded on at a muffler place since i dont have the stuff to do it at my house.

thanks

Re: Cost of installing APEXi N1

do you have a turbo?

go to a custom shop and get 3" cat back piping welded [2.5" for a NT]. you should be able to get it for under 100 bucks, welded and installed. i got a DP back full custom for under 200, with test pipe, flanges and a muffler welded and installed...

You COULD get the muffler welded on to the stock piping, but it never sounds good when people do that. I'd just spend the extra $100-$150 for them to bend you a custom cat-back and then weld the muffler on to that.

You have to get an exhaust shop to do it. Don't be alarmed when you don't notice any performance gains from just the muffler. Get a full exhaust.

Yall pay way to much for work on your cars. I had my N1 muffler put on last month at a local muffler shop, they charged me $51.35 (all labor). Why would you spend so much on a guy doing some minor welding and some spot welds?

I just got the muffler put on the stock piping and it sounds really good. My feelings are that you really dont need the whole exhaust system, a muffler, down pipe, and maybe a high flow cat is all you need. I love the sound of mine!
