SLP cold air intake
i found the SLP cold air intake online for $129 and it supposedly adds 10 horses. Is it worth it, it looks like a tin box that i can make out of scrap metal

It'll add 10 hp under ideal conditions with lots of other mods. You won't see those numbers unless you have the cummulative gains of alot of modifications...

are you sure its the real slp cold air intake? i thought they had two cone filters on them. if not i know of a few free mods to get the intake up to speed on the ls1 cars

Sounds to me like he's describing what SLP's CAI looks like, that's how mine came when I ordered it from SLP...
