quad four need more power

how did you make your car a "race car"? Is the motor the HO version.

yes it's the high output.
needs to look stock i race in the hornet division at my local track.(four cly. ,70 series tires, stock exhaust, ect.

Well i dont know what the rules dictate for this class. but i would say a ported head. intake. better suspenion for a better launch, and probably strip the interior. also a fatanza flywheel (wieghts about 8lbs) and a stronger clutch. Dont know any place that might have motor mounts, but im sure someone sells them.

I would look into www.mantapart.com (but be wared if you dont do COD on the parts it will take you forever to get your parts, they are known to take forever to ship your parts)

or try www.the-race-shop.com (new company, but a good guy, if you dont see what your looking for email him since the site is all together yet)

To keep a stock look you'd just have to port and polish everything. As far as bolt ons there's not much you can do with a quad 4 they're about as good as they can be IMO.

I dunno, I was actually thinking that yoiu could mask an intake and tube w/ the stock intake tube around it. Those baffles really slow air down inside the tube, and a smooth inner surface would benefit you, even if only slightly.
