Unhappy !!!HELP!!! air conditioning problem

My climate control fan speed has been dead for about a year-- I turn it off and it blows high--BUT that is the least of my troubles!!! Turn on the climate control "fan", you can hear it running but no air what so ever coming out of the defrost, vents or the floor-- got home and there is condensation or a MAJOR build up of frost on my condenser, tubes and the cylinder that is located at the front of the motor on top. N E IDEA AT ALL????

Can you be more specific? What year, model, etc. Are you refering to the evaporator, or condenser, and what (and where) exactly is this "cylinder" you refer to? (the compressor?)

Sounds like your system is frozen up. This happens when the refridgerant level is low, and for some reason the low pressure switch doesn't tell the compressor to shut off. Probably a bad low pressure switch, located on the accumulator or close to it (cylinder that you explained). I would recommend buying a new switch, accumulator, orifice tube, 3 cans of refridgerant, 8 oz of the proper type of oil, and a good flush solvent, and either get someone to service it or do it yourself. It's not all that hard to do, but if you have no idea about a/c work, you better get someone to help. Hope this helps.
