Smile 1969 Camaro heating and cooling problem

I have a 1969 Camaro and there is no air coming out of the vents when the a/c or heater is turned on. The compressor is new. My guess is that the blower motor is not working since no air is coming out (hot or cold). Is there an order that I need to check things in? Also, how big a job is it to remove the blower motor and/or fan? Any info would be appreciated.

umm, i dont know how much the fender is covering everything on the camamros, but it shouldnt be that hard to get it out. i dont know about AC cars thought but on my nonAC chevelle, all you have to do to remove the blower motor is undo the bolts that are in a circle around it, and then the motor and the fan thing part comes right out. you will also have to remove the wiring thought too. like i said i dont know the AC cars but i would think it is simalre. also to test it when you get it out you can just hit the wires to a battery and see if it spins. you might need a jumper wire or two because of the clip though.

well first off, when the fan is turned on high, you should be able to hear the blower motor running, if you can hear the fan running, but dont have any air, then you have a mode door actuator problem, if you dont hear the motor ever turning on, then trace the motor circuit till you either find a wiring problem, or a bad blower motor.

oh yeah one other thing i didnt even think of is the actaul fan switch. you could just try hard wiring the fan before you take it out to see if its the motor or something else. i know of many switches that have gone out. also just look at the back of the motor and see if the plug in on there. there should be one wire going to it and the other one will be grounded on one of the bolts that holds it in. just run a wire straight from the prong to the + side of the battery and see if you can hear it. if it doesnt come on then its either the motor or a bad ground. if it does work then you have to look into electrical like the switch and stuff.
