well i am planning on the same swap. all i have left to get it a new 13 vane pump and the seals to replace it then i will be able to install my trans. all you need to do is move the cross member back a coupel inches, i dont remmeber the number but you will need to drill 2 new holes i think. just put the trany up there bolt it to the engine and bolt the crosmember to the trans, then you will see where it will sit and see what needs to be drilled. luckly your driveshaft yoke will not need to be changed and yout driveshaft will not need to be cut. im asuming those are the reasons you chose the 200 over the 700. now as for the 2004R compared to the 200R4, the only difference is people not being spacific. what i mean is that they are the same trany, in reality there is no 200R4 tranny. people just mistakenly call the 2004r a 200R4 because they think the name is in the same order as the 700R4, but its not. so there is no 200R4 just people mis naming the 2004R.
as for the parts and stuff for your swap, the only thigns you will mainly need unless you want to build the tranny, is the TV cable setup, the corect brackets and cable, not a detent cable like your 350 has, and you will also need to converter lockup controls. if you need these things i will provide you with a sight you can get everthing from and all the info on everything and complete instructions for the swap. they specialze in 2004R and 700R4 swaps into old cars so they know what to do.
