compression ratio

Does anyone know if i need a ecu like hondata if i had a compression ratio of 12.5????

I dont really want a piggyback thing like apexi ....its good and all but apexi usa were not able to help me on the wiring of my b16b, so if i do need something to control the car, i would rather get the programable ecu's.

How did you get it up to 12.5? I know the stock B16B is 10.8:1 right? Did you end up milling the head or doing port and polishing or something? I think 12.5 is a little high for a B16B. Anyways, go with Apexi.

I can hear your engine knocking already. I guess you could tune it and run race gas. The highest I would go on pump gas is 11.5:1.
