Re: What to do in New York

Lived in Brooklyn for alittle. The city? Nothings cheap. You can check out grenich villiage. Always something to do there. " I know my spelling is wrong, but I dont feel like correcting my mistakes"

Take a taxi. It's cheaper. They will get you around the city quicker. The subway is ok, just mind your business and you wont get stabbed or shot.Hee hee. No, just messing around.

I would try to stay in the manhantan area. It really all depends on what your fancies are??

Good luck.

Re: What to do in New York

uhhh, I dont know many people in NY that call apartments or homes "flats". Then again your english skills arent the best but you could be an immigrant "dunno:. No offense but if you look anything liek the guy in your avatar, I would advise Starex and all other "spanish" to steer clear from this dude

Hey Starex,
yes, Times Square, a Broadway show, river cruise, bus tours, museums, etc. We, who live in the city can give you suggestions till we turn blue, but if you really want to know what to do in NYC, I would suggest you get a few (not one, but a few) travel books on NYC. (One of the better travel books is Access NYC). Only you know what you like and dislike to do on a trip. By being prepared ahead of time you save yourself from wasting your time (and money) on doing the wrong thing or going to the wrong place.

While everything is mainly in Manhattan, a visitor can enjoy themselves within the other boroughs which comprise NYC as well. it all depends on what you want to do and for how long you want to stay.

There are plenty of good restaurants in NYC. A GREAT PASTRY SHOP< AND I MEAN A REALLY GOOD ONE, one of the best in the city is called Veniero's Pasticceria. its on 342 East 11th Street (between 1st and 2nd Avenue). Really awesome place, and got some of the best pastries you've ever tasted. If you want to dine outside of NYC< go across the George Washington Bridge to New Jersey, on Route 4 to a place called Dinallo's, awesome italian food, but may be a bit to pricey for you, im not sure, but if you do go, you will like it. Its on Route 4 East, across from the Riverside Square mall.
