no headlights\no running lights 97 cavalier

Ok the light on my dash is blinking and the daytime lights are not working neither are the headlights, I have hazard and turnsinals and parking lights, does anyone know what the problem is?? could it be that one of the bulbs is burnt out?? when I bought the car there were no high beams and the dealer fixed that, my guess is if I had the book it would be easier to figureout the problem, the blinking must mean somethin, please help I hate to have to be home by dark

Did you check your fuses?
The bulbs can burn out at the same time.
Check your ground.
