Angry sticking tach

Has anybody else had the problem of their (cluster) tach sticking? Mine does it in the morning and it pisses me off... rev-limiter Anyway, could it be like AM condensation or something like that? Perhaps, under the hood on the wires or something. My idle seems off in the morning also, but it always idles high upon first starting the car. Weird thing though, in the afternoon when it's dry, it works fine. Is there a solution to this? Thanks.

Re: sticking tach

I thought cars always idle high when they're just started up?

Re: sticking tach

Yeah, I really don't care much about that. I just wish my tach would work in the morning. I have to tap it, after reving over 4k rpms... hardly ever happens in afternoon/evening though... stupid. A mechanic once told me it had "lazy gauges"... I was like "yeah, you're just too f*ck*in lazy to fix it"... oh well...

Re: sticking tach

1200 RPM's is alittle high for normal driving. Shouldn't it be around 900!
