Stupidest word problem
Inspired by the lateral thinking involved in the recent "Rose" puzzle, I was looking at word problems that involve lateral thinking. I came across this collection, many are pretty out there, but check out #23. Don't even bother trying to figure it out, just look at the answer, it doesn't involve lateral thinking, it involves mind reading. It doesn't exactly leave you thinking, "ooooh, now it makes sense".

All of those are old to me considering I've got the books that they were pulled from. Many of them were altered and have a different wording than the originals, but, it all comes out to be the same puzzle in the end.

Actually, wouldn't ANY answer that offers an explanation of why things happened be the proper answer?
