Tow bar

Would appreciate input from you guys that tow your K5's.

I have an 85 full size Jimmy (4x4) I would like to tow behind the motor home for trips of around 250 miles one way.

What tow bar would work, and which in your opinion would work best? Can it be bolted up at the bumper, or does one need frame base plates?

I would suspect a rating of 6,000 lbs. minimum would be required, or does one need a higher rating?
