put in new pcv,toped it up oil.worked for awhile then started smoking again.

See if the oil is in your TB. If it's in your TB, and your intake manifold, it could be blow-by on the piston rings, or bad valve seals.

finally did a compression check and redid squarted oil gained 25lbs each sure sign rings?
