it is like anything else in the world. why do we have burger king and mcdonalds? why wal-mart and k-mart? because it is something different for people to like. maybe everybody doesn't want just usdm stuff. or maybe that some people think that jdm stuff looks or is better. take 300zx for example (hehe), i want the jdm front fascia, rear tail-lights, headlights, and couple of other things becuse i think they look better.

also...a lot of JDM parts are better than some USDM parts when refering to japanese cars...
good example...USDM 88-91 Civic came with a maximum 106hp...JDM Civic's came with a maximum of 160hp...and a whole lot of better parts for that car.... but there's also EDM that most people don't talk about
