Scratches and chips

Do most people get scratches and chips on their cars or am I the only one? Are door edge cars necessary? Should I get side body trim?

Re: Scratches and chips

Every car gets scratched & chipped. Don't follow another car or truck closely, this will avoid front end chipping. Scratches are usually done by some one other than the owner.

Open your doors slowely, no edge guards needed. There clear tape like products for protecting edges, front ends, lights, etc.

Re: Scratches and chips

Man, I live in NYC and my bumper has been scratched the hell up by other people who can't parallel park. Believe me, none of my scratches are my fault. Its gonna happen one way or another.
