new gsr
hey, i just bought a 95 gsr. i dont really know too much about cars but i know that i dig the import scene and hondas. im just looking for some advice on some modifications i could do with my car for increased performance. and help would be awesome.

understood, but is there anything special i could do this being a vtec engine? as you can tell im still pretty new at this. what type of header, exhaust, and intake? people who have gsrs and have certain brands could tell me what they think. it would be great. thanks.

ya, you would find alot of info if you did a serch. On my car I have a aem cold air intake (really you could get a cheap ebay one and put a k&N filter on it and see the same power, but the aem has that carb sticker that makes it 50 state legal. I have a apexi exhuast, and a dc 4:2:1 header, which I am going to swap out for a itr header if I can find one for a reasonable price. If you can get your hands on a itr header it is the best, plus you can still keep the heat sheild. and a vtec controller (came with the car) One way to find alot of power is have it tuned. You can usually find more power tuning you car than spending money on some kind of bolt on mod, so it is a better bang for you buck.

aem cold air-carb legality, cheap ebay if u don't care
itr headder, or other brands work too, make sure it's got the 2.5 inch collector tho.. greddy, apexi, tanabe, you name it, whatever you can find for a good price

in response to kicker1 retard...i thought thats what these forums were for...when i search on google or yahoo or any of the other search engines i dont get the useful info i can get from people on here...other than you obviously. so thats why i asked here. if you dont like it then dont be a member cuz this site is full of this kind of stuff. thanks to the people who have been helpful.

btw, about the carb stickie. isn't the k&n carb legal too so if u have it on an intake, thne wouldnt it technically be carb approved?
