Re: 1995 Ram,power lock problem ?

hey man, its the motor inside the lock, see those three little torux head screws on the middle of the side of the door, if u take those out, and if u take off the door panel, and disconnect all the things goin to that locking mechanism, i took mine out cuz i had the same problem, take the case of the bottom of the black box thing where the harness hooks into the motor, i had to hit mine with a pair of pliars to break off that cover that covers up the motor, then take off that metal plate, watch out for springs they wont go nowere if u just pay attention, then i hooked it the engine to my battery and it only barely jolted, it oughta spin really fast to spin all those little gears to move that little white arm that slides side to side that hooks onto the door lock rod and it moves it up and down, the motor just blows after a while, the passenger side works fine, but the drivers one just sucks i guess, let me know if it works out
