93 Deville Starting Problems
Hello I was looking at a 93 deville with 68,000 miles $2,100 looks and drives like new but the owner has told me that when he got the car (Re-sells repaired salvaged vehicles it was totaled because of the heater coil busted and pumped coolant into the passenger compartment) that there was a starting problem with the car he said that he believes he has corrected the problem but the symptoms are somtimes it just wont start like it has a bad starter or dead battery he has replaced the starter and ignition on the car and had it in a Cadillac dealer for about a week to correct the problem but they could not find anything wrong he brought it back home and discovered a wire under the battery that was off or loose and since they have re connected it has started ever since the past 2 weeks. can anyone advise me on this or possible diagnoses should I buy? he wanted me to be aware of the potential problem it might have. Thanks Kraig

Re: Should I buy 93 Deville Possible Starting Problems
93 was a good car.
Will he give you a guarantee for 30 days? If so, buy it. |

Re: Should I buy 93 Deville Possible Starting Problems
He has kept it a extra week for me checking several times a day that it will start and so far so good. I got to give him credit for being honest. KC
