04 civic, instrument panel wont light up

My friend installed a cd player in myy car yesterday, and the instrument panel wont light up. I checked all my fuses and they work fine. The cd player works great, as do all the gauges and odometer. Just no light when i turn my headlights on. I saw a post from someone with a 99 accord, dont know if its the same problem or not but any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Mike

Nothing outside of the radio wires, and ive already hooked the factory deck back up, so something is shorted or blown. But what?????
