emission I/M incomplete
I have a 96 Eagle Talon 2.0L (NT). The car will fail the emissions I/M testing for 5 test (Catalyst, O2 sens mon, O2 sens htr, EGR sys mon, & Evap sys mon). I will do the driveability test and after 45 min., 3 of the 5 I/M will be OK. Now with only 2 in-complete I/M test being still not passing would be ok for our state emission testing, but as soon as I turn off the ignition the I/M will go back to 5 failed. Is there a on-board battery in the PCM (ECU), that could be bad? Does anyone have any thoughts on this one?
