how fast?

no my chevelle is not stock it has a custom 502 board to a 540 with an turbo 400 shifter and a trans break and a over drive system
is has alot more but i wont say what
it looks really nice and is really fast i will post a pic soon.

can somone post specs on their chevelle i want to see how mine compares to theirs.

my specs
0-60 1.8 secs
quarter mile 9.2 secs
not sure but i thinks the 0-60 feet is .5 sec
top speed is 182 mph
(note that is because of the trans)
the engine is capable of 220 mph trans cant do that

my chevelle also has back seats because they were in when i put in the roll bars i cant figure out how to take them out it also has a front seat and a heater right now

im going to take all this ot and im hopeing to run in the 8's

i would post some pics of my car except for the fact that i dont have a digital camera, or a scanner. i have a few pictures that i scanned at a friends house that are on my computer but they are in the paint format and i cant figure out how to format them to open them with someing other than that.

i have one question right now....

it has a custom 502 board to a 540

can you really bore a 502 out by 188 thousanths of an inch. a 502 has a bore of 4.475 inches. to get it to a 540ci by boring it, you never said it was stroked only bored so its to late to say its stroked, you would have to bore it to 4.635inchs. unless someone else has anything to say about a 502 being able to be bored that much im calling BS. now maybe when you get those pics or explane yourself i will believe you but not likly. oh by the way pics of the car and the engine and all your suspencion and the slicks you are running would be good.

hey 68chevelle when the pics of your car are up their mine will be up their ok buddy and ya like you said the motir is board 4.635 inchs not 4.475 it is possible

but the times im pullin are in the low nines
im going racing this weekend and i hope to beat them because today i took out the back seats and the sound system
its kinda pointless to have because i cant really hear it over the engine

well i should say back seat because the tires are tubbed and their is a little seat in the middle of the tires
