Lowering vs. Ground Effects
im trying to decide whether to just lower my 96 accord or to go a little more showy (but more impractical) and get ground effects...any opinions?

Re: Lowering vs. Ground Effects
lower the car first. "Ground Effects" or Body Kits looks HORID on a stock ride height car. Body kits are okay, but you'll need the car lowered first.

Re: Lowering vs. Ground Effects
just don't lower it too low cause it's a hassle driving down driveways. my 96 accord was lowered when i bought it and it gets stratched alot on the bottom if i down do the 45degree turns to go over bumps. my pipe that is connected to my header is scraped almost flat cause of it. So if you are gonna lower your car get adjustable coils in case so you can adjust to your liking.

Re: Lowering vs. Ground Effects
Lower it, I agree with 92LX on looks, plus lowering it will help your handling as well as improve looks

i have a 96 ex accord too.....i would suggest lowering it and a body kit......I have intrax lowering springs 1.7 F and 1.6 R.....it gives it a nicer look and i have yet to scratch my body kit anyway and i have been driving with both for about a year now...... Anything lower then that though with a body kit, goodluck..
