throwing code 17?!?!?!
ok code 17 is speed cable well i was looking noticed the cable wasnt in tranny so i slipped it right back in and still showing code and speedo still isnt working...my question is, is there a trick to putting the cable back into the tranny or what if so any pics on how to do it?

might have to spin the tires while you put it in, so the gears will line up, then put in the retainer clip

I have the same problem right now, my friend told me it's probably either a broken or frayed wire from the cluster to the ECU or a broken trace on the back of the cluster, like a crack in the copper line on that plastic stuff on the back. I just haven't had time to look at it yet.

make sure the speedo cable spins on the cluster side when you spin the trans side.
