resonator

I have a 95 Thunderbird Lx w/4.6 and I have no mufflers. I like the sound level a lot, but what I am looking for is a deeper sound without the gargling noise? I know Iwill get it if I remove the converters, but will the resonator give me what I'm looking for?

Also I'm going to reburn the chip to a mustang specification what year would yall suggest? 96,97,98

Thanks man! How much did it cost you? And thanks again.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the chip?

Re: resonator

or dual x-pipes. the resonator is there for a reason. It stops resonation and creates a certain amount of backpressure for low end torque. There have been several reports of dual xpipes keeping the resonation(is this a word?) down much more effectively than 1 x-pipe and doesn't hamper flow but keeps enough back pressure to help low end torque.
