what r these wires to

as you can see its not that clear, but anyway can you see the plug in circle 1, i know it goes into the alt but what is it for, and that wire in circle 1 that's in front of the plug its a yellow wire coming from the same harness as that alt plug where in the hell does it go. in circle 2 you cant see it very well but its a blue wire that also is not connected to anything, its in the same wire harness as the first white wire connected to the alt. so if any one can help if you need a better pic just pm me thanx

Looks to me that the plug in circle one should be going to the back of the alt. There is a T shaped socket on the back of the alt that should have a plug going to it. Are you having charging problems? Is your alt light on or guage not reading? If this plug doesn't fit on the alt, was the alt recently changed? It may not be the correct alt if it was. If you can get better pics, I may be able to help you further. I'll even get you wiring diagrams. E-mailing me directly to my site may be easier.

yep the gst wont keep a charge, but there is no alt light, the plug fits in the hole on the alt but then that wire on the back bolt to the alt starts to spark, i dont know whats goin on i just got the car so i dont know if it is a new alt. thanx

well then something isnt hooked up right... the bolt sparks constantly while the car is running or just once when you hook up the wire?

is there any wires connected to your oil filter housing? (the place where your oil filter screws into) some of the wires could be for that if they arent all just for the alternater!

it sparks about five minutes after it idles, but i've only see it do that when that plug is in the alt. as for the wires ill check it out lata
