i NEED SOME HELP . I PURCHASED A 92 CIVIC THAT HAD VERY POOR PERFORMANCE. I replaced the ECU that didnt help. Ive replaced the timing belt plugs, wires ,fuel filter ,to no avail i have also performed a compression test and everything is fine. The first computer would not let me check the codes so i bought a used one.I can now check the codes but there are none set.If you rev this honda up in nuetral at about 3500 rpm it seems to start running against some kind governor. It also gives of the smell of unburnt fuel. The prior owner also took the cat and muffler off. just straight pipe Any help would be appreciated

Well... the fact that it is a civic would be a good basis for your Very poor power and acceleration.
