won't start!

i'm planning on buying my uncles talon, and i called him today about the condition of it. He replaced everything i knew was broke on it(cv joints mainly), and he said he pressure washed the engine, but now it won't start. It started before the wash, after the new parts, and ideas on why it won't start, were're thinking something just got wet.

of course it's not going to work after pressure washing it. most people don't pressure wash their engine bays. they wash it with degresser and a towel. but if you are lucky like one of my friends, it'll start up and won't rev worth sh*t. But if you ever do get it to start just let it idle for about 20 mins to let everything dry. it worked for my buddy.

Re: won't start!

pro3racer;
While this has never happened to me, I have read in other posts here that the cam position sensor can be touchy this way. It's the sensor on the side of the valve cover on the passenger side of the car. If it isn't sending a signal to the ECU the plugs won't spark.
