Last night , I went to the theater to see day after tomorrow and I get home , check out my ride , go to bed. 5 am in the morning I get a knock on the door from the police saying that some one reported a breaking into of a camaro registered to us ( Some one in the complex did it ) and I was like WHAT!!!! Flew out of the apartment in my boxers , race to my camaro to see my poor baby in shambles . The punched out my door locks with something , ripped the door metal , When that didn't work , they took a crow bar and forced it out , bending the cab body structure and completely screwing the door up. Tore out my weather seals , the proceeded to open the hatch , rip out my sub box , tear my carpet out to track the wires to my amp , Tore my amp out with a crowbar or something , from the damage , Tore all my interior rear plastic peices out and broke them all , riped the wires out of my hatch motor assembly ( I suspect to kill the light. ) Stole my cd's ( roughyl 200.00 worth ) Stole my subs , My amp , My bass cap , all my wires.and left.

So I go out there and am about to break down in tears , to police lady walks up and is like , "They left the vehicle flooded with finger prints , which is very good news." I was like..NEWS !?!?! I got news for you , This is like a thousand dollars of damage to my car , Hows that for news. She replies "Sir , calm down , we will do what we can." I retort " Yeah , in what 6 - 12 months my car might be repaired ? I can't drive it around like this and I can't afford to fix this like this ." So she dusted when the crime scene unit got there , took pictures , did a report and left. -Sigh- I really hate people sometimes...I want to kill whoever jacked up my camaro.

Sorry its probably not funny to you. But look. They got finger prints so they should be able to get them easily.

I tell you what , If I see ANYONE walking by my car again. They are going to catch a stray from a ruger 9mm.

Theives are all monkey pole smokers. What really can you do besides stay up all night and watch your car though?? Alarms barely catch peoples attention anymore and by the time they go off they've already busted out a window and have their hands on your stuff. Thats why I just dont bother with anything like that. Id install an amp to power the speakers but in the stock location. No subs because they attract attention and bastard theives.

Can I suggest a baiting? Get a car with a REALLY appealing system. Neons and the works. Come into the same car park with it absolutely pumping. Park it in a dark corner. Maybe even leave a door unlocked or window down. Sit and watch the car with a crow bar. When the fuckers are well inside the car, walk up and FUCK THEM UP.

No , my insurance isn't comprehensive which bites big monkey ass.
And I have planned the bait thing out with my Tahoe . Got some subs in it but no amp , never really wanted to hook an amp up but..I think instead of the crow bar , I just pistol whip them =D

Man, that sucks, but i know how you feel, some bastard broke into my IROC a couple of years ago, popped out the door lock cylinder, and they were in, they stole a cheap cassette deck and the alarm itself, but left the 10 disk cd changer that I had just bought, they totally screwed the wiring up and the car wouldnt start. the bad part was that when it happened it sat overnight in a parking lot of a transmission mechanic to be fixed, and they never bothered to call me to tell me it happened, I finally stopped in to see why I never heard from them about the car being done, and they told me then, and to top it off I had to pay to tow the car home, and to have it fixed before they would work on it to correct a problem on the tranny that they screwed up ion the first place. Then 2 years later some punk busted out the driver door window of my truck while it sat at work, and tried to steal my cd player, but the worthless POS couldnt get the cd player out, but they sure did screw my truck up trying.
