The car has 141K miles and the wiper motor died. I replaced with a rebuild from NAPA. I checked the motor outside of the car and every step of the way as I installed it. Every position worked fine. Even after installation I checked the wiper alignment and then took a test drive, worked just fine.
Today after I started the car all that worked was the high speed. Then I shut it off and restarted the car - now the wipers are 'on' the low speed all the time. The only way to shut it off is the ignition or remove the fuse. I don't think it's the motor, why would the switch work and then not work? Thanks. |

you know what, ive seen this before. i dont remember which one, but there was a blown fuse, replacing the fuse caused the wipers to work normally.
