2001 Key Pad Code

I have just purchased a 2001 Sport from a used car dealer. The van came with one key and no key pad code.

My question is what is my easiest way to optain a code for the door and a spare key? I know you can buy a uncut key off Ebay. Does anybody have experience taking a uncut key to a dealer?

Mark, the keys for the 2001 Windstar have a microchip in them that works as a theft deterrent. When buying keys from other than Ford, ensure they have that chip, if not then your van will not start. They are pricey at Ford, but they can do it. They also can get you a remote and program it to your van, I just had that done. As far as the keypad, I am not sure where it is kept. If I find it, I will let you know.
