low idle

i have a 97' 3.8l that has a low idle eversince I took off the IAC. IS there any way to adjust to raise up the idle? It seems that the van wants to quit when i come to a stop. Any suggestions would greatly bne appreciated.

Replace the IAC, and verify it is properly connected.

I took the DPFE off and shook it around a little. Reassembled it back together and now the idle is up where it's suposed to be. I also think that cleaning the upper intake and gaskets helped as well
