Unhappy CD Player

Hoping to get some help, I have a VS Series II Commodore and my CD Player is not working as a CD is stuck in it. It is the standard Eurovox model. Upon hitting the mode button it will no go to mode CD, it can switch between AM/FM/FM1 but not to CD. Eject button does not work and it does not try as it cannot get to the CD mode. Any ideas ?

Sounds like you've got a good excuse to get a new stereo. Even $300 will get you a good one nowadays.
