blower fan

I am wondering if anyone could give me any leads as to what is wrong with my 1995 Aurora. The fan worked whem I first got the car 4 months ago and then decided to work when ever it wanted. Now, however, it doesn't work at all. I was told to check the relays but that doesnt seem to be the problem.

Sounds like the fan motor could be defective and need replaced. Have you tried taping the heater box where it is to see if the motor will start. In order to do this make sure that the heater controls are turned on. I am sure you have checked the fuse.

The mechanic said the motor itself seems fine, but what do you mean by taping the heater box. He thought it was a resistor. Do you have any idea where that is located.
