to cyclone or not too cyclone

i have a 96 mirage and am wanting to give it some steroids. a mechanic at a local import tuner shop recomended the cyclone motor. but im curious since im not running an awd car can i use a normal dsm 4g63 5 speed tranny. and where would i need to go to get hte motor mounts done. i would take it back there but they mostly dealt with hondas and vw's
