yup thats right just popped my cherry, i was turning into a big parking from a main street and right as i made the turn i took off my seat belt and right as i did that a little bike cop drove by and flipped around stopped me so now i have to appear in court sometime soon (cuz im a minor) and so on and so forth... i guess this whole seatbelt thing in CA is for real, take it from me

I got pulled over once and as the cop was getting out of his car, without thinking, I took off my seatbelt to get my purse in the back seat. He asked me if I had it on when he came up and luckily he believed me that I did.

I love Indiana laws though, if you get a ticket you can go on a deferral program for about $150 for a year and if you dont get anymore tickets, the first one dissapears from your record and your insurance doesnt go up. And you can go on it once every 2 years.

I have only had one ticket in 20 years of driving. It was a failure to obey a sign ticket. The sign was the speed limit sign, I was doing 75mph in a 55mph zone.

I have been pulled over many times over the years and never got a ticket, except this year I got a speeding ticket doing 59.5 in a 45mph zone. I went to traffic court knowing the cop who gave me the ticket isn't a cop anymore because he got busted for buying heroin. I got out of it no fine no points.

out of my fine 3 years of driving I haven't been pulled over yet. I've been drivin fast on the highway though, went 90 mph a couple days ago, and I heard it isn't fun to get pulled over so I better calm down. I know where the cops are usually, and also they are always around school zones. Never ever speed near a school, especially with the 25 mph flashing lights.

my boyfriend just got a ticket for going 90 in a 65 in the widebody rx-7 on the way down to rotary revolution. Luckily the cop thought the car was cool and brought it down to a 75 in a 65.

I've gotten 2 tickets since I started driving, first was an expired sticker, 2nd was for doing a burnout in a parking lot (damn cops are everywhere). I always wear my seatbelt so I've never been busted for that, but my cousin refuses to wear his and he's gotten busted 3-4 times in the last year or so for it last time they fined him (I think it was like 150-200 bucks) and made him go to court. He says it's his choice and that they should butt out which maybe true, but to bad no matter how much he rebels he'll still get nailed for it, no wonder his insurance it $450 a month. maybe he'll learn someday.

Seatbelts are your friends, they may just save your life one day. Nobody is going to think you look dumb if you are wearing one, and if they do, tell them to go to hell!!!!

I think the seatbelt law is stupid, except for kids. If you're stupid enough NOT to wear a seatbelt, you're stupid enough to accept the consequences that come with it.
