E-brake connected to fan?

when i release my e-brake the warning light will go off, but if i turn on the fan or anything else below the radio on my 95 Jetta III GL, the warning light will come back on even though it is completely released. The fuses are all good so i don't know what may be wrong. If anyone has some knowledge or experience please tell. Thankyou

Mid 90's Jettas had some wiring problems. It could be that something else is interfering with the warning light.

Did you mess with your electronics before? The wiring could be frayed, and crossing... I think most of it is 12v wiring.
