more 1st gen.
We need some more people with 1st gen cars on here. you guys will your newer electronic thingamagingers.
 i guess old cars are supposed to be for old people lol.

LOL I have pictures of a 1969 camaro with a turbo buick in it running 10.90 from the GSCA Nationals. That was cool!

I'm 24 and I have a 69 RS Conv. There not just for old people it's just that the newer ones are more reliable and handle better.

well thank god we have someone younger..lol...every car show i go to its all old guys. here i am...almost 19 and i have a 68. theres a plus to that though cause how many 18 year olds have a 68 camaro?

My 69 RS conv was my first car. I go it when I was 15 years old. But wasn't able to drive it until I was 16.
Your right though younger people don't have them that often because they are going way up in price. Quote:

i think the primary deal, is that the older cars, being easier to fix, are usually fixed by the people that own them, rather than having to go ask about them (no diss to you at all, i apologize if it sounded that way) while the newer cars are far more complex, and more likely to be owned by people who know less about them, leading more people to seek answers to problems they have. for contact with other first gen owners, try hitting up texashotrod on here, email him and ask for web forums for first gens, i know he had a 69 camaro project for a while, and talked to other forms about it. cuz we didnt have alot of first gen experience here.
