Crankshaft position sensor ? 94 Cherokee

I have a 94 Cherokee that stalls during warm up. Will usually restart immediately somtimes have to wait a minute or 2 but will not fail once it is up to operating temp. After reading other posts here it sounds like CPS. I do not get a check engine light or any codes. How can I check it and will it store a code?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You

sorry, but i beg to differ, you want to use throttle body cleaner only, carb cleaner will leave a gummy residue, that is not good for the injectors...

Not sure your problem is the CPS, but here's a link to a page with a test procedure.
