transmission removal

I'm replacing the clutch/pressure plate assy in my '92 4WD 4Runner. The repair manual doesn't mention anything about removing the front stabilizer bar assy. I think the removal and installation of the manual transmission/transfer case would be easier with it removed. Is it ok to remove the stablizer bar or not?
