that's an easy one ... you have them wired up out of phase. Take just one of the subs, and take the amp wires off and put them on the opposite connector you pulled them off of.

Re: wierd sub action
I don't quite understand what you mean by this...are you saying I connected the channels of the amp incorrectly or the wiring got switched at the speaker?

Re: wierd sub action
You have one speaker out of phase from the other. Both speakers have to be in phase with each other to produce bass. What you are doing now is called cancellation. Pull out both subs and verify that the positive and negative wires are connected to the proper terminals.

Re: wierd sub action
You have the amp + connected to the + on one speaker and the - on the other, while it should be connected to the + on both speakers. In other words, you have the + and - terminals on one of the subs backwards and you need to switch it (doesn't matter which one, just switch one of them).

OK that makes sense tahnbks for the help...I was thinking of switching them to backwards would you want the subs to be "cross wired" then or would you want them to be normal still?

if both subs are backwards ...... you can keep the wired up + to + and - to - .... it won't matter.

Re: wierd sub action
Just as long as the subs are wired the same as each other, that's all that matters
